our Description
The Conkouati-Douli National Park tour is an extraordinary journey into one of the most ecologically diverse and spectacular protected areas in the Republic of Congo. Located along the Atlantic coastline near the Gabonese border, the park uniquely combines marine, coastal, forest, lagoon, and savannah ecosystems, making it a vital refuge for wildlife and an ideal destination for eco-adventures.
Home to a remarkable variety of species—including chimpanzees, forest elephants, buffaloes, hippos, manatees, sea turtles, and numerous birds—Conkouati-Douli also supports important conservation initiatives and community-based ecotourism through projects such as Kunda Ecolodge and local village partnerships. Its rare combination of land and sea habitats offers travelers an immersive, responsible, and unforgettable wildlife experience.

This Conkouati-Douli National Park tour from Pointe-Noire spans three days, allowing you to explore the park’s rich biodiversity through guided wildlife encounters, boat excursions, forest tracking, cultural visits, and historical exploration in the Kouilou region.
