Today, your adventure begins with a journey by public bus (taxi-brousse) toward a village near the forested heart of Ivindo National Park. One of our experienced guides will accompany you to ensure a safe and smooth trip. Depending on availability, you will spend the night in Makokou or Loaloa, settling into basic local accommodation. This evening is a chance to meet your guides, prepare for the days ahead, and soak in the atmosphere of Gabon’s forest communities.
After breakfast, we set out for the spectacular Kongou Falls, a journey of three to four hours through lush rainforest landscapes.
